Mr. Governor & Mr. Deputy Governor of the 6th RAE, You know that Primary Health Care is among the priorities of a favored State, and especially when it comes to staffing Rural Clinics in isolated villages, in mountainous areas and not only. Especially for our case concerning the Rural Clinic of Tritaia Crossroads, to which our Community Clinic of Drosia belongs and is connected, we inform you that:
Following information we had from the Ministry of Health, the permanent position of Rural Doctor for the Tritaia Crossroads to Dr. Vasilis Stamos has been announced and definitively approved. However, we do not know if the relevant Government Gazette of the appointment has been issued.
Taking into account that at the beginning of next month of February the term of the one-year position of Doctor that we have and operates the Clinic until now expires, we do not know when the new and now permanent Doctor will come to install. Also, taking into account that the Rural Clinic of Stavrodromio and ours did not operate for more than eight (8) years, and that with the assistance of the Municipality of Erymanthos and with our own money we fully equipped the Community Clinic of our village (Drosia), and we operate it diligently until today, We ask that you inform us immediately when the new permanent Doctor will come to settle in the Stavrodromio Clinic and therefore we will have the continuation the operation of our own Community Clinic of Drosia.
