The \"Volunteer Group of Friends of Drosia\", at its request, met a few days ago with the newly elected Mayor of the Municipality of Erymanthos, Mr. Theodoros Baris and his associates (Mr. Deputy Mayors and Technical Advisors).<\/p>\n
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss, to submit proposals concerning the development with the construction of projects in our picturesque Historical village, its tourist exploitation, taking into account the fact that it is located at the foot of Mount Erymanthos, at an altitude of 750 meters.<\/p>\n
The meeting took place in a very good, friendly, consensual atmosphere, which means that the new Municipal Authority, despite the problems that exist in the adequacy of Municipal Resources, will do everything possible, will proceed with those interventions that are jointly deemed necessary for the development of our village. Giving priority to the construction of the playground in the multiplex of Ag. Athanasiou, the construction of the path from the central church to the lower part of the village, construction of two kiosks and benches in the places we have requested, internet in the central square that we have requested and approved through a European program and arrangement of the boundaries in Ag. Konstantinos between our Municipality and the Municipality of Ancient Olympia.<\/p>\n
The \"Volunteer Group\", (among other issues), pointed out, reiterated the necessity for the restoration of the Historic and first former Primary School of Tritaia, our village, the conversion into a Cultural Center, with the drafting of the Study (here we will ask for the assistance of the Region), where immediately afterwards we will look for a sponsor to proceed with its complete restoration.<\/p>\n
He thanked us for the fact that the new Mayor has prioritized the construction, completion and completion of the \"Evrymantheia Odos\" (Micha, Lakkomata, Kaloussi, Alepochori, Spartia, Kalentzi, Koumperi, Drosia, Pteri, Skiada), with a recent public statement, aiming at the tourist exploitation of all villages located at the foot of the mountain range of Erymanthos.<\/p>\n
The \"Volunteer Team\" wished \"Good Luck\" in the work of the new Municipal Authority, its close cooperation on issues concerning our village.<\/p>\n
