\nPress release<\/strong>
\nOn Sunday, January 29, 2023 at 10.30 am, the 1st cutting of the cake of the Cultural Association, Drosia Tritaia \"Oi Gianniades\" took place in the village, in the central square, under the Historic Platanos of Giannias.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

It was a wonderful sunny winter day, festive, joyful environment from the great participation of fellow villagers, friends, members of the Association.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The pie was blessed by the vicar of our village, Father Christos, and greetings were also given by the Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Erymanthos, Mr. Ilias Papagiannopoulos, and the President of our community, Mr. Dimitrios Zorlas. In the afternoon of the same day (January 29), at 18.30 in the \"Aleka Sioulis\" hall of the Pampeloponnisian Stadium, (Patras), the 2nd pie cutting of the Association took place.<\/p>\n

The attendance, the participation of our fellow villagers, was massive, with a smile, with wishes, with optimism for the New Year.
\nThe 2nd pie was blessed by: The representative of our Eminence Metropolitan, Father Paisios (whom we warmly thank), and the vicar of the village of Kouberi Drosia, Father Panteleimon. The event was also honored with their presence by the official Guests of our Association:<\/p>\n

The Mayor of Erymanthos, Mr. Theodoros Baris, who stressed the excellent, necessary cooperation with our Association and referred to the legendary fighter \"Giannia\" of our own hero of Drosia, who we held with (Co-organization) the brilliant, large anniversary event in the central square of the village in the summer of 2022.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The President of the Municipal Council, Mr. George Kourachanis, who referred to the actions of our Association, whom we thank.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Deputy Regional Governor Mr. Andreas Filias, who with his presence stressed that with the Events for the 200 years since the Revolution of 1821, (where he himself had undertaken the organization of the Events, which he carried out with great success by the Region), we learned our History again.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Regional Councilor Mr. Dimitrios Drivalas, with references to the history of our village, its natural environment.<\/p>\n

The Representative from the Management Committee of the Stadium, Mr. Fotios Katsikaronis, whom we thank for providing the hall free of charge.<\/p>\n

The former president of the Association of Triteknon who referred to the historicity of the villages of the Tritaia region and especially in our village of Drosia.<\/p>\n

The Choir of Koino-Topia also participated in the event, where with melodies welcoming the new year and songs from the field of the artistic repertoire conveyed joy, smiles, optimistic wishes for the New Year.<\/p>\n

The Choir was conducted by the Conductor Mrs. Lina Geronikou. On the piano was the musician Mrs. Elena Fedko. The event ended with the traditional offer of the New Year's cake, with many wishes for the New Year on behalf of the Members of the Association.<\/p>\n

Our Association would also like to thank the local media for their cooperation,
