\nDrosias.<\/p>\n
Mr. Mayor,
\nAfter every visit we make to our village (Drosia Tritaia), we usually return from the road that was built a few years ago and connects the settlement of Koumberi with the Vasiliko of Erymantheia. The above route pleases us because of the natural landscape that exists and because it reminds us of our childhood, where most of us traveled then on foot (there were only paths for animals and residents at that time), to go to Erymantheia for business and for our attendance at the only High School in the area.<\/p>\n
Crossing the above Provincial road a few days ago, we noticed that in one place there is already a landslide, and in some others, the asphalt is worn. Furthermore, in the closed Primary School of Drosia there has been a landslide of part of the pen of the courtyard that surrounds it. Please find attached the Photos of the Provincial Road and the pen of the Primary School of Drosia.
\nTaking into account that winter is coming, where we do not know the intensity it may have, we are concerned that the above damages have not yet been repaired. Following the announcement you made as Mayor of the area (and the relevant articles we read in the local press, \"The Best\"), that the Ministry of Economy approved a budget of 2,831,000 euros, part of which will be used by your Municipality to repair damage from natural phenomena, we have our reservations whether they will be repaired, in our village with this money. So, after the above events, our reflections,<\/p>\n
We ask
\na) Include the above Provincial Road from Koumberi to Vasilikos for its radical maintenance, rehabilitation, before winter comes and we have a new landslide that will bring about the total interruption of vehicle traffic on it.
\nB) To restore, maintain the pen of the closed Primary School of Drosia.<\/p>\n
Especially for the closed Primary School of Drosia, we inform you that in the future we will submit a proposal for its complete renovation, the conversion into a Cultural Center of the area with the creation of a Folklore Museum in it (we already have the material), as you have already proceeded to a similar restoration of the Primary School of T.K. Skiada. We would also like to point out that, if the amount of the above fund that your Municipality will use is not sufficient for the restoration of the Road, then in this case the Region of Western Greece must take care of the above issue, i.e. the maintenance, restoration of the damages of the Provincial Road due to the adverse weather phenomena that we have every winter season in our area.<\/p>\n

\nMunicipality of Erymanthos: \u20ac2,831,000 approved for the restoration of damage from natural disasters

\n\"The Ministry of Economy and Development approved the allocation of 2,831,000 euros for the restoration of damages from natural disasters (floods, hailstorms, tornadoes, etc.) caused in the Municipality of Erymanthos due to extreme weather phenomena that affected mountainous and semi-mountainous settlements of the area during the winter season\", the Municipality said in a statement and continues:<\/p>\n
\"This was announced by Mayor Thanos Karpis, at the last meeting of the Board of Directors of the Municipality, which also accepted a credit of \u20ac 531,910,56 for works to be carried out by the Municipality, given that for the remaining amount of \u20ac 2,299,000, the implementing body of the planned restoration works is the Region.<\/p>\n
They were preceded, at the request of the Municipality, by the designation of the Communities of the affected area in a state of emergency by the Deputy Regional Governor Grigoris Alexopoulos, as well as a relevant decision on the financing of the restoration of the damages of the Regional Council on the recommendation of the Regional Governor Apostolos Katsifaras. The Board of Directors also accepted funding of \u20ac 140,000 from the Public Investment Program of the Ministry of Economy and Development, approved at the request of the Municipality and a relevant proposal of the Region for the completion of the new Municipal Store (Town Hall) in Chalandritsa. At the same meeting, the proposal of the Municipal Authority for the submission of a proposal to the Operational Program \"Western Greece\" of the Region, for the
\nFunding of the projects entitled \"Regeneration \u2013 Landscaping of the Primary School (old) of the P.C. Skiada and \"Regeneration of the Configuration of the Urban Fabric of the Central Core of Chalandritsa (Section 2 \u2013 Section of the Church of Agios Athanasios\" with a minimum total budget of 1,000,000 euros. The Board of Directors discussed and decided the participation of the Municipality in the new Program
\nThe Deposits and Loans Fund, which is implemented in cooperation with the Hellenic Company of Local Government (EETA) and concerns the financing of studies for the maturation of projects of small and mountainous municipalities.<\/p>\n
Finally, and among other things, the Internal Regulation of Operation of the Community Center of the Municipality was approved, the reform of the Budget, the replacement of members of the Board of Directors of the School Committees, while a decision was taken to submit a request for the removal of the OTE mobile telephony antenna from the center of the settlement of Chalandritsa\"<\/p>\n
