Subject: 1) Integration for the Financing of Project Studies in our Village, through the
\nprogram of the Deposits and Loans Fund.
\n2) Inclusion of the following Proposals in the Technical Program of the Municipality.<\/p>\n
Mr. President, Mr. Mayor, Mr. Party Representatives, The implementation of projects for the regeneration of mountain villages is a vital issue in the
\nToday's era after the increasing desolation that has occurred in recent years in all the old settlements.<\/p>\n
The redevelopment will not bring about a change of climate for the few residents (and perhaps the return of others for permanent residence) who despite the adverse conditions continue to remain, and on the other hand the promotion of our Cultural Heritage, the promotion of our Folk Tradition through Cultural events that will be organized in these villages.<\/p>\n
Especially for our own historical village \"Drosia Tritaia Patras\", which was the first Capital of the Municipality of Tritaia since its foundation. the year 1841, with its old name until the year 1955 \"Prostovitsa\" \u2013 we can cooperate for the regeneration, the promotion of its natural environment. Regeneration for our village means: Promotion of its many and picturesque small chapels, the renovation of the old Primary School (the first School of the Municipality of Tritaia founded before 1882), and conversion
\nof this in a Cultural Center and construction of a Folklore Museum for the wider area, etc.<\/p>\n
In detail, through the program of Financing studies for the maturity of projects of the Deposits and Loans Fund that you are going to submit soon, we submit to you the following Proposals that we request as well as to include them:
\n\u2022 Total renovation of the building of the old Primary School, the courtyard, support of the pen that surrounds it. Especially for
\nMandra There is a big problem for the safety of residents, where there was recently a landslide and generally needs maintenance. The regeneration
\nmeans for us, the transformation of the School into a Cultural Center, the construction of a Folklore Museum, (for which the exhibits exist).
\n\u2022 The promotion of the old and large in number of Chapels that surround our village.
\n\u2022 The renovation of the surrounding area of the chapel of Ag. Athanasios. Already at our own expense we install Electricity,
\nwe are partially proceeding with the configuration of the surrounding area for the installation of a \"Playground\" and for planning Events.
\n\u2022 The construction of paths to the mountain, for climbing, hiking, planning excursions for residents, visitors of our village. Details: Path to Platia Petra, Fytili and to Ag. Konstantinos. Maintenance of the Road to Ag. Konstantinos.
\n\u2022 The reconstruction, promotion of the old paths that existed thirty (30) years ago in our village, through which we crossed it in all its lengths and widths.
\n\u2022 The connection of the chapel of Ag. Athanasiou with the picturesque chapel of Ag. Marina, with Municipal road. (There used to be a road.)
\n\u2022 Construction of parking. ('As you know, all villages have a problem with parking; we have demarcated a first space and then we will shape some others that we have already pointed out).
\n\u2022 Internet in the village. It is imperative for the Municipality to install the infrastructure for the provision of Internet in the village, and especially for the needs of the future Community Clinic that we all work with, to be implemented.
\n\u2022 Income in the village. Taking into account that the State Funding to the Municipalities, and then to the Local Communities, is constantly decreasing, we proposed to make a preliminary study for the installation of Wind Turbines (Installation of a Wind Park), next to the chapel of Ag. Konstantinou at the top of the mountain, in order for the village to have a permanent income for its development needs. (as in Anavra, Magnesia)
\n\u2022 Environmental Park. From the location of \"Platia Petra\" to the location \"Wick\" at the foot of the mountain, we propose the configuration for the installation of an Environmental Natural Park.
\n\u2022 European Programs for the Development of Organic Livestock Farming. In order for them to stay, return young to the village and engage in agriculture \u2013 livestock farming, it is required through European Programs to develop Organic Livestock Farming with significant economic benefits for the residents there.<\/p>\n
Mr. President, Mr. Mayor, Mr. Party Representatives, Due to the fact that the depopulation of mountain villages is an issue that should concern us seriously, Due to the fact that Regeneration, the Promotion of the natural advantages of a picturesque village, is an issue that should constantly concern our Municipality over time, Due to the fact that the preservation of Cultural Heritage, of our Folk Tradition is a matter that we all need to work with, The Volunteer Group of Friends \"Drosia\" that was recently created to promote the above Proposals (Regeneration of our village), intends to be active enough and in an orderly manner over time, It asks for your assistance in this difficult path that we are embarking on, due to the primary role \u2013 institution you serve, for the inclusion of our above proposals in programs for their implementation Pending the acceptance of our Requests,<\/p>\n
