\nSubject: 1) Integration for the Financing of Studies and Projects in our Village, in
\nfrom the program of the Municipality and relevant other Community Programs
\n2) Inclusion of the following Proposals
\nin the Technical Program of the Municipality for the year 2020.<\/p>\n
Mr. President, Mr. Mayor, Mr. Party Representatives,
\nThe inclusion in programs for the regeneration of the Historical villages of our Municipalities is an important step for \"Quality of Life\" for the Residents who live and remain in them in order to avoid the desolation that occurs in recent years in all the old settlements. Any form of regeneration will yield on the one hand climate change for the few residents (and the return of others for permanent residence) who despite the adverse conditions continue to remain, and on the other hand the promotion of our Cultural Heritage, the promotion of our Folk Tradition through Cultural events that will be organized in these villages. Especially for our own historical village \"Drosia Tritaia Patras\", which was the first Capital of the Municipality of Tritaia since its foundation. the year 1841, under its old name until the year 1955 \"Prostovitsa\" \u2013 we submit to you our cooperation for the regeneration and promotion of its natural environment.
\nRegeneration for our village means: Promotion of its many and picturesque small chapels, the renovation of the old Primary School (the first School of the Municipality of Tritaia founded before 1882), and its conversion into a Cultural Center and the construction of a Folklore Museum for the wider area, etc.<\/p>\n
Detailed through relevant funding programs, after the preparation of any Studies that need to be done, in order to have maturity of projects and integration into Community European Programs, (and programs of the Deposits and Loans Fund that existed some time ago and a relevant call was made for the inclusion of projects),<\/p>\n
We submit the following Proposals that we ask you to include:
\n\u2022 Total renovation of the building of the old Primary School, the courtyard, support of the pen that surrounds it. Especially for
\nMandra There is a big problem for the safety of residents, where there was recently a landslide and generally needs maintenance. (The renovation means for us, the conversion of the School into a Cultural Center, the construction of a Folklore Museum (for which the exhibits exist). We also inform you that a basic prerequisite for the renovation to begin, the Technical Study is required, an issue raised by the \"Niarchos Foundation\" after submitting a request for funding, because we will look for Financiers for the Renovation, as we have already done. We also like to believe that the Western Region of Western Europe is not a good idea. Greece will embrace, it will support our demand, i.e. the preparation of the preliminary study for the radical renovation of the Primary School.<\/p>\n
\u2022 The promotion of the old and large in number of Chapels that surround our village. (Already with money from the \"Volunteer Team\"
\nthe radical renovation of the chapel of Ag. Athanasiou, where a solemn Divine Liturgy will take place in the near future).
\n\u2022 The renovation of the surrounding area of the chapel \"Ag. Athanasius\". Already at our own expense we installed electricity and water supply, we are partially shaping the surrounding area for planning Events. For the construction of the \"Playground\" for which we have already submitted a relevant study, we have been publicly stated by the previous Municipal Authority, the
\nThe fact that it has included us in the program for its installation. Due to the fact that each new Municipal Authority continues the work left by
\nprevious, we expect the implementation, construction and installation of the \"Playground\" by the new one. The construction of a road, connecting our village with the village \"Fteri\". In detail we talk about the road that once existed in good condition that directly connected the village after the turn to Trypes, where through the area of Gomosto we had a direct connection with Fteri. Our proposal has to do with the temporary maintenance of the existing road, and future further opening and asphalt paving. Taking into account that at our own expense, with a donated sponsorship, with our own personal actions, we opened, equipped the Community Infirmary in our village \"Drosia\", for the residents who live and remain, (and not only them), in Fteri, they will have direct access to the Community Infirmary, Community Doctor, in addition to direct communication with us.<\/p>\n
\u2022 The construction of paths to the mountain, for climbing, hiking, planning excursions for residents, visitors of our village. Ie. Paths to Platia Petra, Wick, etc.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Maintenance of the Road to Ag. Konstantinos, Asphalt paving. Especially for the maintenance of the road to the chapel of \"Ag. Constantinou\", we are of the opinion that nowadays the former Communities must communicate directly through asphalt roads. The future inclusion in a program for the full opening and asphalting of the above road, and the further continuation of asphalt paving by the neighboring Municipality of \"Ancient Olympia\" to connect the villages of \"Tsipiana and Kryovrysi\" with us and not only, will give life to those who remain and continue to maintain our Cultural Identity, the
\nFolk traditions, which we need today. Considering that the existing road to the chapel of Ag.
\nKonstantinou and its continuation to the other former Communities of the neighboring Municipality of Olympia is a provincial road,
\nHere, too, we are waiting for the assistance of the Western Region. Greece to include it in a program for the complete drilling and asphalt paving, putting into practice the direct communication of the villages (Drosia, Tsipiana, Kryovrysi), thus shortening their road connection with the city of Patras. Furthermore, due to the fact that with the asphalt paving of the road up to the chapel of Ag. Konstantinou we reach an altitude of more than 1000 meters, we will have immediate tourist exploitation of the village, from the arrival of mountain lovers for hiking and continuation of the ascent over 1500 meters, and planning excursions to walk through the forest.<\/p>\n
\u2022 The reconstruction, promotion of the old paths that existed until a few years ago in our village, through which we crossed it in all its lengths and widths. Many of them have been closed or trespassed. Already with our own actions we have prepared the Topographic for the Traditional path that starts from the central square of the village and ends on the road to the chapel of Ag. Athanasiou. We have already sent the relevant technical study of the project to the Municipality, we have obtained a construction permit for it from the previous Municipal Authority and if the Municipality assists us with part of the materials required, we immediately start its construction.<\/p>\n
\u2022 The connection of the chapel of Ag. Athanasiou with the picturesque chapel of Ag. Marina, and the from Kefalovryso to it with the traditional paths. We have already started with volunteer work:<\/p>\n
A) The partial opening of the path from Ag. Athanasios to the chapel of Ag. Marina.
\nB) The partial opening of the traditional path that starts from Kefalovryso, passes next to the foot of the mountain, towards Ag. Athanasios.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Internet in the village. The Municipality to install the infrastructure to provide Free Internet in the village. For the needs of the Community Infirmary, it already exists.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Income to finance projects in the village. Taking into account that the State Funding to the Municipalities, and then to the Local Communities, is constantly decreasing, we proposed to make a preliminary study for the installation of Wind Turbines (Installation of a Wind Park), next to the chapel of Ag. Konstantinou at the top of the mountain, in order for the village to have a permanent income for its development needs. (as for example in Anavra, Magnesia)<\/p>\n
\u2022 Environmental Park. From the location of \"Platia Petra\" to the location \"Wick\" at the foot of the mountain, we propose the configuration for the installation of an Environmental Natural Park Dear Sirs, When in many mountainous countries desolation is just around the corner, for which an event should seriously concern us, When the Regeneration and Promotion of the Natural Advantages of a Picturesque
\nIt is an issue that should constantly concern our Municipality over time, When the preservation of our Cultural Heritage, our Folk Tradition is something that is imperative for all of us to work together. The \"Volunteer Group of Friends \"Drosias\", which closes two years, was created to promote the above Proposals (Regeneration of our village), where it intends to be active enough and always in an orderly manner and with your cooperation, assistance.<\/p>\n
