Subject: Installation of wind turbines around the ridge where the
chapel of Ag. Konstantinou, Environmental study

Mr. President of the Municipal Council & Mr. Mayor, The regeneration of a village, a Community can be done beyond the already existing Funds that our Municipality currently has. Especially as the "Volunteer Group of Friends of Drosia", we have submitted to you since 05-10-2018, first. No. 04, and with protocol no. 10.314 /12-10-2017, proposal concerning the installation of a "Wind Turbine Park" on the ridge located east of our village in the place where the chapel of Ag. Konstantinou with multiple benefits for us.

Such an organized facility will contribute, on a regular basis, the appropriate amounts of money, which will be spent solely on the redevelopment, the promotion of the natural beauty of our village, and we fully agree with such an event. We reserve the consent of the residents after a General Assembly.

In recent days, however, we have been informed by residents of the area that two (2) permits have already been granted for the installation of wind turbines, an issue for which we have already submitted a proposal to you. Especially we have been informed that for the area around the chapel of Ag. Konstantinou – and Skiadovouni, and with coordinates EGSA 87

2) location Ag. Constantine X=302368, Y=4198397,
3) Intermediate position Local X=301552, Y=4197250,
4) between the boundaries of Drosia-Skiada-Tsipiana X=300110, Y=4196106.

Have relevant permits been granted, and do they concern the installation of wind turbines?
For this fact, please let us know:
A) if you are familiar with the subject;
B) if relevant Environmental Studies have already been submitted to the Municipality and anything else required by the relevant Legislation.

Taking into account that it is imperative to be companions for development, for the promotion of natural potential, for the Quality of Life of the residents who remain in our village.
