2nd Cultural Event in our village,
Sunday 12 May 2019

The "Volunteer Group of Friends of Drosia" thanks everyone who honored us with their presence and helped in the success of the 2nd Cultural Event held at the chapel of Ag. Athanasios Drosias on Sunday, May 12, 2019 with Divine Liturgy and Artoklasia.
The presence of our fellow villagers, the friends of the "Volunteer Group" was quite large, where all together we celebrated the coming of Spring, while the students of the Primary School of Stavrodromio danced traditional dances and we thank them warmly.

We would like to inform you that in the old days it was a local custom to hold a Divine Liturgy in early May at the chapel of Ag. Athanasiou and the villagers after May 2nd started raising the sheep on the slopes of Erymanthos for grazing all summer.

The "Volunteer Team..." also thanks:
-Mr. Evangelos Angelopoulos, Car Repair Shop Evia 234 Patras, for the offer of Loaves and Koulouria. Mr. Konstantinos Plegas, Patisserie, 150 Gounari Street, for Sweets.
– Our Sychorians, who helped in the care of the Church and for the arrangement of the surrounding area.
– Mrs. Dimitra, Mrs. Niki & Mrs. Georgia Mylona, who donated the wooden table bench that we placed in the courtyard of Ag. Athanasiou.
– The lovely ladies of our village, the friends who offered us food, sweets, pies etc. and helped in the success of the event.
– We also thank the following shops, those who offered gifts and all of you who attended and helped in the Lottery that followed.
